This was a project build out of the desire to create something. A first time collaboration between Alexander Kerkour and Mark Mizrahi, it is a way to encapsulate nostalgia and amusement. The piece is CNC plywood layered atop each other in a specific pattern to create an animal, not unlike childhood models of balsa wood. As such we sought to bring such small childhood delights into our drudgy grown up world. By enlarging all the parameters we can contest with the wonder of then and now, all whilst enjoying a regal fox.
