Our 9th annual festival is February 2 – 10, 2024
The Portland Winter Light Festival (PDXWLF) showcases pop-up art installations in windows, storefronts, and public spaces throughout Portland. With over 200,000 visitors each year, the festival invites people to explore light art installations across the city, support local businesses, and celebrate art and community during the darkest time of the year. This nonprofit event is family-friendly and open to the public, aiming to bring digital art to inclusive audiences and invigorate Portland in the winter.
The festival spans nine days, and we kindly request that all art in pop-up locations be illuminated throughout the entire duration. Outdoor art featured at the anchor sites—World Trade Center, Pioneer Courthouse Square, and The Electric Blocks—will be available for viewing only on Fridays and Saturdays.
