Green Anchors

The Green Anchors Foundation is a new community-led Oregon 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to reclaiming, restoring and regenerating a seven-acre brownfield site in the historically vibrant St. Johns riverside area of Portland, Oregon.

We support restoring a healthy habitat for fish and wildlife and creating equitable public river access for community members and visitors. We aim to be a destination for local arts, green enterprises, and provide opportunities for environmental education to ensure the waterfront is protected and preserved for generations to come.

Green Anchors is proud to be the home of several other non-profits who share our vision of supporting the environment and building a strong community.
