The dragonfly has always been a symbol for someone I lost. Every time I see a dragonfly and their beautifully colored bodies and wings, I’m reminded of them. Insects have had a storied past of being a nuisance of everyday life, but when they are still or you see their wings in close-up, you realize that science and art go hand in hand in nature. For each type of fly, each wing is like a fingerprint, with intricate patterns and colors that make them incredibly unique. ‘Enchanted Flyt’ is a celebration of the life and the gift that nature brings to us each day.
