Invaders From Space (Game)

Feb 2-3 & 9-10, 6–9:30 PM

Game play will be Friday and Saturday Nights from 6pm till 830pm

Oregon City hosts the nation’s only Vertical Street, built in the 1950’s the Oregon City Elevator stands 130ft tall. Seasonal static images are projected on the outside of the main column for major Holidays and events. The elevator is free to ride daily and connects historic downtown Oregon City with the neighborhood on top of the bluff. The elevator design incorporates the flying saucer spaceship look popular at the time.

For the winter Lights festival artist Cyrus Zamani along with Party Factory Events project a interactive retro video game on the 80ft tall elevator main shaft. Guests standing in the street below can play this video game. There is only one level and the goal is to destroy the attacking flying saucer before the ships destroy us.

Game play will be Friday and Saturday Nights from 6pm till 930pm.
Parking is free and lots available on High st. Then ride the elevator down to the bottom to view.
This is outside rain or shine.
