Lantern Procession 2024 Hosted By Artist Group “RISK OF CHANGE”

Join your friends from Risk of Change for an illuminated evening stroll to take in the many installations of the festival while bringing light and joy to all we encounter! We will gather at the Salmon Street Fountain on Saturday the February 10th at 7 pm. At 7:30 pm we will depart on our stroll through the festival and over to Pioneer Courthouse Square.

This year, we’ll gather for a quiet procession for those who want to mourn and grieve and steadily lift the energy to a state of laughter, spinning, and dance! There will be costumes, lights, and movement. The route will go through different areas of festivities and will be accessible. You’re welcome to hop into the parade and leave when you see something that draws your attention!

What to bring: Illuminated Costumes, Giant Puppets, lanterns, simple colorful flags and lit objects of all kinds are encouraged! We will be wearing ghostly and flowing white outfits that move as we process and dance our way through the event. You are encouraged to dress up too!
