Lucy in the Sky

The historic Willamette Building has been a jewelry building and an integral part of the jewelry industry for over 100 years. Our installation is inspired by Diamonds because this is the “Diamond building” of Portland’s jewelry district. Lucy in the Sky is a collaborative installation put together by several companies residing in the building. The top floor of the building is wrapped around with patterned lights and from those lights will be Diamonds, falling like snowflakes. Joey Paulekas will be projection mapping the graphics onto the building whilst music of all different genres that reference Diamonds will be playing along with the light patterns.
