3…2…1…Blast off! Its continuing mission: to seek out new lifeforms, to explore strange worlds, and to go where no robot has gone before!

Mechan 42 is the first ever commissioned art piece for the Portland Winter Light Festival. This steel robot features over 100 LEDs, a jetpack, and a shiny astronaut helmet. But the most intriguing part of this robot is the space crystal it holds in its hands. Such mystery it holds!
