Wind is an unseen force in a whipping of hair or a meadow’s gentle wave, producing ferocity and elegance. Swirl illuminates vector wind patterns.
For modern humans wind is traced by vector patterns in digital maps. Using vectors as source of design, Swirl lanterns replicate the tracing of wind through spinning light patterns. Made from metal and lighting components, and with the help of talented friends. Jean Margaret is a light artist with 30 years of experience as a lighting technician and designer of various responsibilities, within all the entertainment fields, though mainly in film/video, stop-motion animation, theater and museum exhibits
