A viewing portal into the life of the vast deep sea, where speckles of color and brilliance dance in absolute darkness. Is it real or an illusion?
The light installation features the reflection of light in the form of holographic images. Composed of transparent acrylic panels, an upside down pyramid rests on a podium that conceals the source of a projected image. Using the principle of Pepper’s Ghost, the upside down pyramid reflects light projected from below, which forms the illusion of a three-dimensional moving object floating within the shape. The light coming off of the LED video panels project imageries and graphics that tell the story of the light show.
